Who can participate in the PES Summer School?
Registration is open to all PhD students, postdocs, industry professionals, researchers, and final-year MSc students.

Is there an opportunity to apply for financial scholarships?
MSc and PhD students can apply for a scholarship. We are offering two types of scholarships. Information on the excellence scholarship can be found here. Information on the green scholarship can be found here.
Am I guaranteed a spot if I apply?
Due to the limited capacity of the school, we sadly cannot guarantee a spot to everyone who applies to the summer school. We will select the admitted students based on the received applications. Note, that the evaluation of application is not based on CVs, but the relevance of background and research/work direction of the applicant to the topics of the summer school. For reference, the acceptance rate of applications for the PES Summer School 2024 was around 50%.
Can I apply via email?
No, we will not accept applications submitted via e-mail or any means other than the above form.
How will I know if my application has been succesful?
You will receive an email on the notification date stated above which will inform you of our decision regarding your application.
How do I register and pay if I am accepted?
If your application is accepted, you will receive an email from our payment and registration system where you can pay via either credit card or bank transfer. Once you have paid, you are automatically registered in for the summer school and ready to go. Other forms of payment are not possible.
What if my plans change and I cannot attend?
If something comes up and you are no longer able to attend, please inform the organisers by emailing us at pes-summerschool@dtu.dk. If we are informed after the 15th of April, we will not be able to offer a refund.
