DTU CEE Summer School started as an initiative of the Energy Analytics & Markets (ELMA) group of Center for Electric Power and Energy (CEE) in 2016. Sponsored by EES-UETP, Mosek ApS, RTE France, and CITIES, the 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 summer schools have been widely successful. Attracting about 50-60 attendees each year and with distinguished invited lecturers from the US and Europe, they fully covered the attendees’ expectations.
Summer School 2019 received a positive or very positive feedback by 100% of the participants (45% rated it as excellent), and 95% of the participants would recommend DTU CEE summer school to others. During the Summer School, students participated in exercise sessions, presented their research in a poster session, and carried out group projects. The two best posters were rewarded with the chance to give a presentation for the whole group and receive feedback both from their peers and the lecturers. Social events, where attendees interact and connect, are an integral part of the Summer School.
